Who We Are?

Brief Background

Established in 1998, Care for Uganda is committed to strengthening families, promoting holistic child development and brings hope to the hopeless. The ministry partners with churches and guardians to help them provide vulnerable Ugandans with the opportunity to rise above their circumstances and become all that God created them to be.
Every child deserves the love and care of a family. Because we believe that this is also God’s desire, we are committed to serving vulnerable children, the elders and the sick around the country by providing the basic possible life care for them
Following the fact that Care for Uganda Christian Ministries was founded on the belief in the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, it is our belief that every child deserves the love and care of a family. Therefore we seek Jesus’ direction in all the activities we do in the country and the world at large. To the best of our efforts and potential, we serve these children and their families as Jesus Christ would serve them. We empower them in spiritual values, moral values, healthcare, feeding the hungry, shelter, education to mention but a few
Parents
Although Care for Uganda Christian ministries mainly takes direct care for the basic educational, spiritual, social and financial needs, we even move further to give support to the widowed mothers who are in very appealing circumstances.

Many of the families we take care of have single parents, especially mothers. Some come to us when they are homeless or in Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE bad health situations or from broken up families.
